It is the storm before the calm

and even the raging tempest is numb;
dulled and empty it is impotent to remain.
it passes leaving only the calm, inevitable stillness.
drained of all energy it dies, and is not replenished.

It was difficult to even take more than a few photos and have them come out looking like anything due to the lenses fogging.
