You can tell which photo is the HDR

mostly because of the artifacts and ghosting due to the lack of a tripod when I took the shots.
I wonder if I want to explore what can be done using those "imperfections" in a photograph.

more experimentation with photo stitching:

some a bit rough,

some a bit beautiful,

some a bit thin,

and some more experimental than others.....
I wonder if I will find the method to have foreground, midground, and background with detailed focus using photostitching?
maybe there is a more simplified solution that simply hasn't occurred to me?
maybe I need to take the groups of pictures differently. perhaps the focus is being thrown by too many shots being at a certain focus depth....

experimenting with fast shutter:

on the recommendation of some blog post on the subject of hummingbirds I turned the iso up past what I am happy with and the subsequent grain is unacceptable.
maybe tomorrow I will take some more with a lower iso and they will come out better?

there is potential here I think for even larger more ridiculous pictures.
maybe a mountaintop 360 degree pano of the entire area....
that will take forever to stitch...
